Our factory in Aspropyrgos
Since 1980, E. Pairis S.A. has operated from its own facilities at Gorytsa, Aspropyrgos, in Attica, Greece. This is where we design, produce, inspect and store the plastic bottles, containers, jars and caps we supply to food, beverage, cosmetics and chemical companies.
The group facilities cover a total of 18,000 m² and employ around 130 people. Our location in the Thriasio industrial zone of West Attica makes loading and distributing every order faster.
Equipment and production technologies
Our production lines cover all the main plastic packaging technologies. With extrusion blow moulding (EBM) we make bottles and containers from HDPE, PP and LDPE. With injection moulding we produce caps and preforms. With 1-stage and 2-stage injection stretch blow moulding (ISBM) we produce PET bottles and jars. Silk screen printing is also carried out in the same plant, directly on the packaging.
Since 2018 we have been investing in fully electric machines, which use less energy and give more consistent results from part to part. Multilayer co-extrusion (Co-Ex) lets us make bottles with up to 6 layers, and we can use up to 100% recycled plastic.
Second production plant in Aiginio, Pieria
In 2002 we founded EPSH S.A. in Aiginio, Pieria, together with the Norwegian company Elopak, to produce bottles and caps for milk and juice. Since 2010 the plant has been fully owned by the group. In 2023 EPSH won the gold Top Food Packing Performer award at the FOOD EXPERTS Awards.
Quality and safety at every stage
Production runs under an ISO 9001 quality management system and is certified to FSSC 22000 for food safety. Our 5 to 25 litre containers carry UN certification for dangerous liquids, and our child-resistant closures (CRC) have been certified since 2006.
